Letterpress Calling Cards.

Back in January while getting ready to attend a couple of events I decided it was time to update my calling cards. I still LOVE my wooden cards but wanted to do something different this go around. I have always been a fan of letterpress- the feel of the thick paper, the way the indentations feel when you touch them, so it was an easy choice to have some custom letterpress cards created.
Lindsay and I collaborated on the design and my friend Miranda of Hairpin Letterpress printed them up. It was an exciting day when they came in the mail. I love the way they turned out! Super simple with a tiny splash of color. The weight of the paper is so good and the cute square shape keep them from being too predictable.
Miranda was so great to work with! In fact, we've got another little project up our sleeves that I'll be sharing soon. Until then you can check out Hairpin Letterpress to see more of Miranda's work or email her to get started on a custom project of your own.
Here's one more shot of that gorgeous peony from my yard because…PEONIES!

  1. Beautiful! I love the square shape and the simplicity. I'm pretty sure everything you do is perfect. I can't wait to see what you are working on next.

Love the peony too, I only wish I could smell it through the screen!

Letterpress has always been a favorite of mine too; timeless and always classy. Excellent choice!
