Cross Stitched Valentines.

We all know someone with a heart of gold. That person who always offers to help, has a kind smile to share and uplifts all those they come in contact with. Why not stitch up a pretty little card for that special someone this Valentine's Day?
You can download the printable pattern here. The tutorial from my Hearts Stitched Together card will help you get started.

One tip: Metallic embroidery floss is a little more tricky to work with than the kind your probably used to. It tangles quite easily. Because of this try to work with shorter pieces of thread. To stitch up this one heart you will roughly need a 24" length. Oh, and the "heart of gold" prints in black. It appears a little purplish in these photos.

  1. Such a great idea! I always use the saying "heart of gold" at work. I think my boss hates it:)

    1. That's who you need to give this card too!

  2. I just want you to know that I love, LOVE, love your blog and all of your beautiful ideas. Thank you for taking the time to share them!

p.s. I'm using your "have a ball" valentine idea this year with my Graeme-bear!
