Weekending.

Saturday was one of those rare we-have-nothing-we-have-to-do days. Ryan took the children to play tennis while I organized my sock drawer. Easton mowed the lawn and Abby read the new issue of American Girl magazine cover to cover. We rode bikes, cooked a pot of beans and cornbread for dinner and rounded out the night with a couple of episodes of Duck Dynasty. Oh, that show. Have you seen it yet? It's my new guilty pleasure.

  1. Sounds like the perfect weekend. It took a boy to get me into it, but I love Duck Dynasty now, too. They are funny and I love that faith is the cornerstone of their family :)

  3. How lovely! I always look forward to reading your posts, as they offer such a peaceful glimpse. Our neighborhood is so woodsy/hilly/muddy, bikes are but a dream. I'm vicariously riding along your sweet flat street :)
