Project Wedding.

For the last six months I've been a regular DIY contributor over on Project Wedding. I have to say, contributing is such a fun gig! I love thinking up ideas that can be created with inexpensive materials but still look like a million bucks. My latest post, Paper Flower Escort Cards is live if you'd like to take a peek.

These paper flowers aren't exclusive to weddings. I would love to make a little garland out of them. It would be cute as a birthday party banner or just strung up in my girls' room.

You can find my full tutorial right here.

  1. This looks gorgeous, can't wait to try it! I am a little confused going from step 2 to step 3 though. How do you go from having one fold (this is the first petal, yes?) and one stem wrap, to the second petal and stem wrap where there is no free end in the ribbon? Please clarify.

  2. This is so sweet and simple AND I actually have the streamers! This would be perfect for a little girl tea party too :) Michelle

  3. What a lovely project. The flowers look so pretty pinned up on the board together. These would also be perfect for an outdoor summer garden party - so many possibilities.

  4. I love seeing these all together! So simple and so pretty. I made some red crepe paper flowers with blue and white striped ribbons for my family to wear last year on Memorial Day. They did it grudgingly, lol!
