Meeting Henry.

I can't remember the last time I filled a post with so many images. It was impossible to narrow it down! Like I mentioned on Wednesday, Henry was born on Saturday December 29th. We were all keeping our fingers crossed Henry and I would be discharged from the hospital the next day but unfortunately the pediatrician wanted Henry to stay a full 48 hours. A week or so before delivery I tested positive for GBS. Since my water broke at home and labor moved rather quickly we didn't have enough time to get the recommended two doses of antibiotics in my system before he was born.

All of this meant the children were DYING to meet their new brother. Instead of making them wait "a whole 'nother day!" Ryan and his dad brought the kids to the hospital after church Sunday afternoon. Of course Henry slept through the introductions but I will always remember how sweet those moments were. There were oohs and ahhs and "He's so tiny!" I'm tearing up just thinking about it. We're all so in love with this little guy and feel blessed that he'll be ours forever.
