Small Town Living.

One benefit of living in the town where I grew up is sharing experiences with my children that I so enjoyed when I was their age. Even simple ones. This week we took our annual trip to Basin Department to purchase our summer sandals. The sign in the parking lot, the flooring, and if my suspicions are correct, many of the employees are the same from when I was young. It's a quirky little place that holds fond memories for me.

One other great thing about living here? The charming little cities that surround us. Just this morning I woke up with an itch to get out of town so that's what we'll do. I've been hearing about a vintage mid century modern shop that's not too far away. I hope it holds some treasures and cures my wanderlust a bit.

Wishing you all a happy weekend!

  7. Hi Danyelle,
Are you doing a summer craft camp for girls? I would like to have Emma come if you do...It looks like you're settling in nicely. I love that you're just down the street from Grandma's house. How fun!
