This weekend we drank our favorite green smoothie

took a little road trip to watch Easton's team win,

wore heidi braids,

read about inspiring entrepreneurs in the latest Country Living,

and discovered our poor boy Sam has a hurt leg. He's in some pain and headed to the vet for some xrays. Sadface.

Other highlights: Stake Conference, finally cleaning out + organizing the storage room (11 bags to Goodwill!) and potty training my babe.

Our weekend documented using my real camera. Not my phone, not Instagram. Just my good ol' fashioned Canon. I've been missing crisp, unfiltered images and decided it was time to get back in the habit of  fiddling with the iso.

  1. What a fun weekend! Those braids are so pretty and your pup looks so pitiful. Poor dog =(

  2. I checked out your link for the smoothie recipe and then followed the link for the three day detox. I'd love to know what you thought of it. I have a lot of some health issues (so do my kids) relating to my diet--allergies among them. But I must admit that I've tried enough restrictive diets that have backfired (or I've backfired, whateves) that I'm wary of "programs". However, I recognize that I need a good detox; I just need to find one that is doable and sustainable. It's funny, I've never been on a diet to lose weight, but no matter the reason, restricting food messes with your sense of agency!!

    I'd love an opinion/ review/recommendation on the three-day detox....

  3. I'm very intrigued by those smoothies. I love the color but wonder if I could get my kids to drink them.

  4. We have a favorite green smoothie recipe, but I'm always looking for new ones- I'll have to give yours a try. The celery makes me a little nervous, but I'm willing to give it a try.

We had stake conference this weekend also, and I had to speak! Eek! I usually look forward to stake conference, but this was one time that I'm very glad it's over!

  5. Good for you for pulling out the "real" camera : ). I have taken the challenge myself starting this past January to start taking at least one picture a day of my children with the real camera. The process has been so refreshing that I have been able to keep it up.
