A Few Announcements.

Hello, friends. I have a few bits of news to share with you today.

First up: I started a Dandee Designs Facebook page! I'm excited to have another way to connect with all of you. I'm still learning the ropes but thought I would host a little giveaway to kick things off. How does a package full of some of my favorite things sound? Something like this, perhaps? I'll be sure to tuck the latest goodies from my shop in too. All you need to do to enter is "like" the Dandee Designs Facebook page. I'll pick a winner from the bunch first thing Monday morning and shipping the package off later that afternoon to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Fun, right?

I also wanted to let you know that I spent some time this week updating my Projects page. Maybe there's something in there you'd like to make over the weekend? How about these for that little girl on your list? There's also a new batch of favorite posts on the sidebar to click through. This time they're all holiday related.

Finally, I received an email from a reader in New Zealand letting me know that this little blog of mine was mentioned in the latest Australian Home Beautiful. Do any of you Australian readers know how I might get my hands on a copy? I'd love to see it in person!

Have a happy weekend, friends. I'll be wrapping gifts and putting the finishing touches on our holiday decor. Plus, I've been dying to take Easton and Abby to Hugo. Have any of you seen it? What did you think?

  1. I've been such an aweful commenter lately and it makes me sad. I haven't been making the connections with blogging friends and I miss it.

So I'm starting with you today. I saw Hugo and it seriously blew. my. mind. because of how beautiful it was. The set, the costuming, the dialogue. I loved it so much and can't wait to take my big kids [especially Pauline since it is set in Paris] to see it. It's kind of a slow and thoughtful movie and I'm not sure Ethan and Lily would appreciate it, but I thought the way the story unfolded throughout was magical. It's a movie I will definitely purchase on DVD.

Ok, that was such a long comment. I can't wait to hear what you thought of it :)

  2. I just found your blog yesterday and was telling my husband this evening about the brilliant giveaway you did for your favorite things. I've been out of the blogging loop for a couple of years, and hadn't seen anyone do a giveaway like that. It's fantastic.

Also, I have been devouring your site since finding it. You have such fabulous ideas!
