It feels like summer is finally winding down in my neck of the woods. How's the weather where you are, dearies? I told Ryan this morning as we were getting ready for the day that I would give about anything for a nice cloudy day. I know it sounds weird but clouds and rain invigorate me. Unfortunately, there aren't any clouds in the forecast but the temps are progressively decreasing which has me happy enough.

Also making me happy? Pinterest and all the inspiration found there. Here are a few lovely images I've pinned recently.

  3. I"m all about cloudy days too. There's something very English about it, and anything that makes me think of England makes me thing of tea which lead to comfort lol.

  6. I could not agree more. I was just tucking in my girlie for nap time and thought to myself, "I love rain...I miss it." It makes my coffee taste better, makes me so thankful for all He has blessed me with, a cozy house, a safe car for traveling, a warm sweater to wear. Now come February.... this sweet little valley of ours can get quite gray. Remind me I said this then...will ya?!?!

  7. I love a bit of rain but the gray makes me SO sleepy. Now a crisp fall day.. now that gets me moving!! Throw open in the windows and do some deep cleaning.. I become a total nut job!
