Weekending | Home Movie Edition.

Hooray! I'm excited to share this little home movie we made this weekend to mark our last summer Saturday before school starts. I shot all of the video with my iPhone + used this cool iSupr8 app to make it look like the opening credits from The Wonder Years. That's what it reminds me of anyway. Hope you enjoy it + Happy Monday!

iSupr8 app found via the darling Ruby of Cakies. "You For Me" by Terra Naomi.

Loved this Danyelle! So sweet. And I just got an iPhone so I need to download that app asap.

Also it reminded me that I took Flip Video of the whole first week of our summer vacation at the beach in July to make a little movie. Now I need to find the flip and a fun summer song!

Dear Danyelle,

I've been a reader of your blog for years now. And I don't know why, but this is my very first comment.
This video was just so lovely, it gave me happiness and warmth after this grey day here in Germany.
I really enjoyed it!
And by the way I would like to let you know, that your inspiring and wonderful blog is one of my favourites.

Warm greetings. :)

This is so heartfelt and sweet! You'll look back on this video with amazing memories I'm sure. So cool. I did something much shorter, but kind of similar. I used the 8mm vintage camera app to video my baby's first steps she did recently. Super fun.

I can't believe how big your kids are getting. I know I saw them all at the family reunion, but that seems like ages ago now. What a fun end to the summer! I loved the movie!

Such a sweet and perfect way to remember the last weekend of summer. Your children are so lucky! And I think that filter was the perfect choice.

Was that MyFroYo in Pasco? My girlfriend lives across the street and we ate there this summer when I came up and visited from CA. Soooo good....love the cocunut yogurt there!

Anyways, loved every minute of it. Thanks for the inspiration!

what a darling video!! i loved it and am off to download that app. Also, kudos on being in it!!! I am most always the photographer and I am afraid my children will look back at pictures and think I wasn't there. :) It is lovely that they can use this to help them remember you right there participating in it all.
