If you're inspired by design as much as I am, you might enjoy a new-to-me site called Houzz. Houzz is a place for design enthusiasts to come together, share ideas and get feedback on their work. Professionals can upload their portfolios to reach out to potential clients and homeowners can create ideabooks to store inspiring images. You can create ideabooks for products or specific rooms. Perhaps a project you're working on like redesigning your dining room will get it's very own ideabook. It's a great way to keep ideas organized and get advice and feedback from design professionals. I really love the search capabilities the site offers too. Just click on "Laundry Room" under the "Browse by Space" header. I dare you. You will be inspired to the moon and back.

I recently finished up my very first Houzz ideabook. This go around I decided to highlight some of my favorite accessories for children's spaces. My first ideabook was showcased on the Houzz homepage earlier today + I would love for you to click over and tell me what you think. It was so much fun to create! You can keep up with my monthly ideabooks by clicking the link in my sidebar.

  1. I think my favorite thing just might be the Star Wars poster. So different and yet so much more pleasing to the eye than a huge poster filled with lightsaber dueling Jedi ;)

  2. What a fun site! We'll be moving soon & this will be a great source of decorating inspiration.

  3. In all your ideabook recommendations, I love the Seymour Owl Rug most because it speaks to me.

    Good collections.

Sometimes, it's easy to tell on a person by the things he/she loves.
