Up-Cycled Drink Caddy.

I've had this idea in my head for over a year and thought today was the perfect day to show you dears.  Saturday is May Day and this would be a nice surprise to leave on a friends door step, no?  And guess what?  I even have another FREE download for you!

Gather your supplies:

1 kraft drink carrier (I got mine from Sonic after taking the children for some slush's during happy hour)
4 clay pots
alyssum plants (or whatever kind of flower you like)
"HELLO!" banner download
card stock
2 bamboo skewers
fabric

The steps couldn't be more simple.

Download the banner + print on card stock. Cut, then tape bamboo skewers to the back of the banner.

Plant alyssum  in clay pots.

Add pots to the drink carrier.

Wrap fabric around the drink carrier to cover restaurant logo. Once the fabric was around the carrier, I simply hand stitched the raw edges together to secure.

The "HELLO!" banner was inspired by a gift tag my friend Lindsay made a few months ago.  Don't you love having friends that inspire you?  Me too.

And that's it!  A sweet box of flowers all ready to make someone smile.

Speaking of smiling...I'm headed out for the weekend with my mom + sister sans kids.  Can you believe it?  No potty breaks every ten minutes, no diapers, SLEEPING IN!  It's going to be a great weekend, I just know it.

Happy Friday!

Awesome idea. These would make great centerpieces for any event. A very creative way to reuse the drink carriers.
