Pot O' Gold.

Happy St. Paddy's Day, friends.

Here is a quick, last minute treat idea to deliver to your lassies.  And when I say last minute, I mean I just whipped this together five minutes ago. If I can do it, so can you.

All you need is:

peat moss pots
yellow primroses (or another yellow annual)

Pot your plant, make a tag + deliver!

Oh, and here's an FYI.  I'm in the midst of figuring out how to offer up free printables (like the tag above) to you all.  Wouldn't that be fun?  Any computer genius's out there want to offer up advice?  I'll love you forever.

  2. Adorable. What a cute idea.

I was thinking the same thing about printables today too. I quickly designed an irish blessing poster to print for my house. I also added it to my blog and wished it could be a printable if someone wanted it. Go check it out.

I will ask my friend of bitsy creations how she does her printables.

  3. What a great idea! Yellow flowers are the perfect cheer-up-friend kind!

*Free Printables? Yippee! I wish I could tell you, but I know next to nothing (about computers!). And so, I will be loving whoever shows you how forever as well.

  4. Pretty sure my big sis could help you out. She seems to be the guru.

  5. You should be able to create a PDF. Not sure what program you use... might be able to save as PDF there, or you could download a printer driver that instead of printing a hard copy will print to a PDF file. (eg: PDF 995 http://www.pdf995.com/)

PS: I love reading your posts - so sweet and happy.

  6. Danyelle, you're going to want to find a free file hosting site that you can upload your files to and then give people a link to download from. A lot of the people who post digi-scrapping freebies use 4shared.com. I know there are others, though. Email me if you need any help!

  7. I use Primo PDF to create PDFs, and that's definitely what you want to do for printables...

Just go to www.primopdf.com and download the free version. Works great - you can set your PDF to be optimized for printing, viewing, etc.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

  8. If you use Photoshop Elements or Microsoft Publisher to design your tags, etc. you can save them as a pdf file. Then simply used Scribd or Box.net (which are free) to store your pdf. You can add a link to download them on your blog. Need more help than that? Send me an email! I'd be happy to help out! :)

  9. Cute! A PDF is def the way to go, but I don't thing blogger will support them. I tried on my site a while ago, and I couldn't do it. The work-around I found was to upload them to a file share site (like Shayla mentioned above). I used http://www.scribd.com. Good luck, and thanks for sharing!
