Vintage Hoops + Other Randomness.

a random post of sorts...

...for weeks i've been searching ebay + the like for some pretty metal vintage embroidery hoops. tons of people have lots of luck with this sort of thing, but the hoops were being elusive. guess what i scored while thrifting on saturday?...

...and this is the thing. i hardly ever get to go thrifting. lots of little children = little time for gallivanting around town hunting for treasures. it was a thrifting miracle...

...also, did you know that twitter is fun? i love following my peeps, and getting a peek at the day-to-day or minute-to-minute things that go into their lives...

...and did you know that when i tweet, it's because i'm being too lazy to blog...like when i showed a picture of the cute curtain i made for my kitchen window...or the sweet note abby wrote in a friends birthday card...or the AWESOME thing i tweeted today...it has to do with owen and a hilarious thing he said at preschool...you know what, just follow me, and you'll stay in the know...

...and the best thing of all? the sun peeked her lovely face out from the clouds for about 45 minutes this afternoon. i sat on the hard tile floor in the kitchen next to the french door and soaked it all in. i can barely stand these consecutive gray days. the sun shining + the scriptures downloaded onto my iPhone made it a truly happy afternoon. and i needed that...

the end.

  14. You've got me seriously considering tweeting.
I'm glad our kids could enjoy the temporary sun together.
I never find treasures while thrifting or yard sale-ing. I think I do at the time, but eventually realize it was just old crap--not cool at all.
