not sure if this counts since today is today for you (and a spectacular day it is~~~happy birthday~~~), however yesterday is still today & today is blending seamlessly with yesterday for me (guess that's what happens when you get drunk on christmas wrapping or the act thereof). lol. either way, no matter the day, wrapping paper (along with all it entails: scissors, the crystal clear tape, my glue stick for some cute little happy mail items received from you that i'm sharing with my loved ones, hot cocoa & listening to doris day sing christmas carols) is all making me happy now. at this very moment. so, feel flattered, cause you're playing a part in my happiness and you didn't even know it! have a marvelous day all about YOU. to you: biggest birthday hugs ever!

Happy Birthday! I hope it's the best of days. (My grandpa has been 29 for the past few decades, since that was his favorite year.) Today I'm happy because my daughter is talking to herself quietly instead of napping, which is quite cute, even though she needs the nap. And I'm happy because I get to spend the day going back and forth between playing with her and baking in the kitchen - cookies and Christmas bread and a cake. My house will smell so good today!

I am a lurker :) I love the photo you posted, it is absolutely gorgeous. What makes me happy today is that my week girl (3 weeks old tomorrow) fell asleep last night. Something was bothering her and she cried for hours. My husband and I tried everything we could think of. Poor girl. She is still resting.

Happy Birthday! Making me happy today is that we are able to give our kids a small humble Christmas. While it is all we can do this year it's really all they need and will be happy as can be with it. I haven't gone to the mall or target in the last few months so it's really allowed me to get to the true meaning of Christmas. I've found myself more content before the holidays than ever before. It hasn't been a stress because I simply cannot worry about it. It's been a bigger blessing than burden. I'm thankful for my simple Christmas.

I cam upon your blog through a friends blog. So what makes me happy is that my daughter is no longer throwing up. It makes me happy that I do not have to cook dinner tonight (for five picky kids) because our church Christmas party is tonight. And I am happy because I have started exercising 45 minutes a day after reading a very inpiring book. HAPPY.
All the specila moments and memories my grandpa shared through the years so that now as he struggles with each new day we can count blessings. That is making me happy. I have good things to count and not regrets.

What is making me happy today is my little secret trip we are taking as a family. I will pack and wrap the kids suitcases and put them under the tree tonight, then when they unwrap them tomorrow, we will hop in the car and go! Can't wait!

Today I'm happy that my two month old son is getting ready to be discharged from the hospital. We live in Texas but he was born in Boston where he underwent open heart surgery, hernia repair and G-tube placement, among other things. Our goal has been to make it home for Christmas, and we are close to achieving it. My Hubby and three little ones at home cannot wait to have their mom and new brother there to celebrate!!
My beautiful and HEALTHY third child that joined our family a week ago, one month premature but HEALTHY. We feel so blessed.

What's making me happy is the possibility of winning this contest! Kidding (kind of)! I am happy that this is going to be my 5month old's first Christmas. I am so happy to have a family of my own to celebrate with this year, and I'm happy that we're going to be starting our own traditions and making memories that we'll always have. Tradtions we are starting or continuing this year in our little family include sending out Christmas cards, baking for gifts, getting new PJs to wear on Christmas eve, making ornaments for our tree, reading The Night Before Christmas, and going to church on Christmas Eve!

Oh my word, Danyelle, you are one year older than me. How does that work?
I am blisfully happy. Life is good. I am married to a great guy, our 8 years together have been full of lots of learning experiences. We've been through a lot, and although not perfect I feel like we have arrived. We have 3 sweet daugters. We are waiting on a phone call from the courthouse in Portland to let us know our baby will be ours. Hopefully she will be our Christmas miracle.

Happy Birthday! What's making me happy today: This morning, we got a call at 8:30 am telling us that our brand new Black Angus steer calves were on the run! I'm sure my husband doesn't think it funny (I think he just found them, 7 hours later), but it makes me smile!
