Lily of the Valley.

Having a baby with colic is hard. The smell of my favorite flower, Lily of the Valley wafting through the cozy brick house made today a little easier.

I wish I could send each of you a little bundle to enjoy.

I'll just enjoy the gorgeous pictures on your blog instead. I couldn't enjoy the real thing unless I had the book and the chair to perfectly recreate this image!

I'm so sorry. Colic was always my biggest fear and I'm so glad I made it through four babies without it.

Is there anything I can do? I'm totally available to you.

And the flowers are beautiful!

I just read "stephmodo" & wanted to come back leave you a quick comment! I honestly don't think I've ever smelled lily of the valley but if it helps get through the colic, I will try anything. Beautiful pictures!

One of my twins had colic very bad for the first nine months of her life..We tried everything from going through all the formulas,to different bottles to gas drops to practically beating her bottom by patting it so hard(that one seemed to be the only way to even give her a little relief).
I thought I would go out of my mind but thank God I didn't and she eventually grew out of it.I know how hard it is to deal with so you are in my prayers.

My niece had a bad case of colic. My sis-in-law took her to a chiropractor and it worked wonders. My chiropractor told me that sometimes babies spines get misaligned coming through the birth-canal and until it is realigned they experience colic. I know it sounds scary ----babies---chiropractors, but it is a few minor adjustments with a tapping device---no bone jerking. Hope this helps. I love your blog! -Brittany

Hang in there....Dylan once was a coliky babe. I used to put him in his car seat and turn on the dryer and set him on it. He liked the vibration and the sound. I know it is tough!
Can't wait to see him though!

Both my babies had colic. Luckily it was very mild and brief with our second baby. I feel your pain. With our first, my husband would hop in the shower snuggling the baby. It seemed to help. hope you find mor lily of the valley
