On My Mind.

::Our yard. Last fall Ryan [purposely] killed our grass so that this spring he could do our much needed yard makeover. The yucky wood deck is now gone, our new patio should be laid next week and the dirt is getting leveled out, ready for grass seed. Oh, and then there's the new swing set he's promised to build the children along with a tree house makeover.

::E*Trade Commercials. Every time one of these come on we DIE laughing.

::American Idol. I really LOVE this guy and CAN'T STOMACH this guy. Any man that wears more make up than most women I know freaks me out. His range is impressive, but he's too over the top to appreciate.

::Did you see my post over at My Favorite Things about TapeSwell? I love how something so simple can make me so happy.

::Stephanie's iPhone App post reminded me that I wanted to share with you how much I adore the White Noise App. Ryan and I drift off to dreamland every night listening to it. Our favorite sounds are the "sprinkler" and "crickets".

::Yesterday Audrey had her 18 month check-up. Her stats were very comical. Head-90th percentile. Weight-90th percentile. Height-4th percentile. Ryan and I had no idea we were raising a "little person".

::I somehow stumbled upon this blog yesterday and have been laughing ever since. I dare you to keep a straight face.

::Tomorrow is my due date and there are no induction prospects in the near future. Any wagers on whether I make it through the weekend?

  1. Good luck with the yard!! Always an exciting project. We are trying to get our flowerbeds overhauled right now.

  2. Your yard makeover sounds exciting! My kids would love a tree house....but first, they need a tree ;)

I completely agree on both of your American Idol points for today. LOVE Matt Giraurd, CANNOT stand Adam Lambert. Over the top is a good description of him. I think there was a reason that he was in the cast of Wicked. The stage is a perfect place for him.

4th percentile...that sounds familiar. (I think those were my stats from childhood through high school! I'm not kidding. I was SHORT. I didn't grow until after I graduated high school. Oh who am I kidding? I'm STILL short ;)

Crossing my fingers that your little man will make his appearance very soon. I can't wait to meet him!

  6. I have a confession:

Adam is my favorite contestant. I know, he can seem a bit strange at times....but something about him appeals to me.

  8. Your yard makeover sounds awesome! And I completely agree with you on your American Idol thoughts. Matt is my favorite too--and I have a very hard time watching Adam--very strange guy. Goood luck with your baby! I hope he makes his grand entrance into the world soon!

  9. 10 bucks says Saturday. :)
No, I haven't a clue. But I hope it is sooner than later! I am sure you are dying to see his little face!

Oh, and there is a photo at my mother in law's house of my husband and his brother in high school, posing in matching outfits, barefoot, amidst large amounts of stuffed animals. If I can get my hands on it, I am submitting it to that website!!

  10. Guys wearing too much make-up I actually thought you were talking about Randy the judge. He is another guy that I think looks like he is always made up. It really freaks me out as well when I see men with eyeliner LOL.

    P.S.
Thanks for the wonderful work on my project.

  11. It's good to see that someone besides me think Adam Lambert is yicky! I have a sweet, usually sane friend who just loves him, and I really think she's gone mental! Good luck with the baby!

Your due date is today?! I didn't know that! Why the heck are they not inducing?! Okay, going to look at some more funny pictures...
