A few words that have been repeated over and over this past week:
oliver. hospital. perfect. epidural. headache.
spinal blood patch. pain. love. service.
family.
After a textbook delivery, terrible headache, trip back to the hospital and a few days recovery, I'm happy to report we are all healthy and happy. Everyone in the cozy brick house is over the moon for Oliver. Especially me.

Congrats!!! Two words: Diet Coke. My sister had a epidural headache and had to get a blood patch as well and swore by Diet Coke!!! He is adorable!
Oh goodness..he is A*D*O*R*A*B*L*E!! I am falling in love from a picture. And his name..Oliver, so precious, love it! I had to do that blood patch thing too..with Liam. The whole migrane thing was aweful! I was in bed for 3 days and couldnt even enjoy the new babe. After the patch I was better but yeah, had to drink lots of caffiene. Congrats on your new little one.

Oh hooray! I keep checking in to see if there will be a little treat waiting to greet us! And today there was Oliver! I love his name, and he is so darling. I can't believe how alert he is, and he has such a great look about him (to agree with my husband's comment about that cute photo). Maya has a crush on him already.

And I feel your pain (kind of)...I had a spinal fluid leak last February, and they couldn't do a blood patch, so I just had to wait it out for a week. That headache is unbelievably indescribably bad. Sorry you had to deal with that! But the outcome is so beautiful in your case@
