Baby Names.

Ryan and I have a couple of name options we LOVE for this baby boy, but I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something great. I need your help, friends. Tell me a couple of your favorite baby boy names. I'm keeping the ones we already like a secret for now. Also, keep in mind our other children's names: Easton, Abigail, Owen + Audrey. We obviously like vowels but aren't tied to the trend we've created. Please, please share!

  1. Of course the names we named or kiddos are my favorite so here they are: Max Cole -3yrs and Vivian Josephine (Vivi Jo) -5yrs.

Good luck in finding that perfect name...it is so much fun choosing but at the same time can be a bit stressful. You have great taste so I'm sure the name you choose will be great!

  6. We've talked about this and I'm so anxious to see what you pick. It will be perfect, whatever it is!

I'm a big fan of Miles and James and I still love Jackson but couldn't use it for obvious reasons.

    Good luck!

  11. Well, it looks like you have neglected the vowels I and U, and good luck with those. I love the name Oliver, Hank, or Jack. Good luck.

whatever his name: he will be handsome and strong and wise and sweet. i love him already!

  16. i love Rhett, Christian, and Clark.

I can't use Rhett because of guy I dated, who Reid knew.

I can't use Chistian because well, it sounds too much like my name.

Already used Clark. :) Good luck! We still don't have a name picked out for our little guy.

  17. names are so hard. we liked max and after we used it every celebrity in the world started naming their baby max and it became super popular. oh well. my favorite boy names are oscar and sebastian, and i was not happy to see them on the hipster list. hmm. good luck:)

p.s. the book "freakonomics" has an intersting chapter on baby names.

  20. oh what fun! I love the name William {but Donald never would have gone for it}. And if Elisabeth had been a boy she probably would have been Leyton. I also LOVE the name Holden.

I will be so excited to hear your decision.

  21. Baby names are so hard for me. For a name to pass our test, it always had to be something that would sound good over a loud speaker at a game. Ha! I really like classic names like Henry or Thomas over trendier names.

  22. I like Leo, Milo, & Simon....naming our kids is the hardest thing...good luck!

  23. I love the name Max too. If Aubrey was a boy we were considering Max but we thought Max Mathews sounded too much like a Nikelodeon child star. Hannah Montana and Max Mathews!

Really, though, after reading that list you had on your blog I'm kind of liking Asher... (or is that a girl name?)

  24. oliver is nice, but i'm a big fan of elliott. something about how it rolls off the tongue. but then again, that's just me. (T.S. Eliott was a great poet, so i think its a brilliant name-though i like the traditional spelling better)...

  25. If we have another boy I am crossing our fingers it would be a Charlie. Alton is a nice solid 'vowel' name and I love Oliver as well! Jace too!

  26. If your going with vowels I like Oliver too. Max and Sam are classics. Sorry I'm not more help- I never had to give much though to boys names. ;)

  27. Some of the suggestions on here are ones that Jack and I have been considering, but we still haven't made up our minds. Plus nothing is hitting me like it's the perfect name for my family. I've been having a hard time coming up with the perfect little boy name too. I can't wait to see what name you guys decide on. I think Oliver would be a great fit for your family. Are you getting induced? I'm so glad it's March. We'll both have little baby boys soon!

  33. I'm from Wales and as you've already got Owen (a great Welsh name). How about Elis or Emrys or Ieuan, very popular for boys in Wales.

  34. I love Mason and Blake and Riley (but Riley kind of became a girl's name for a while.) I want it back for a boy's name. Can't wait to hear. You have done a great job already with your other childrens' names!
