The Baby Shower.

Saturday was a great day. The weather was gorgeous and the shower turned out just like I had imagined. Simple, clean, and in my sisters words: "not too babyish." Here are some of the projects I was busy working on last week:

On the menu for brunch: Homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, breakfast casserole. Delish!

A few ribbons and trims added to my book wreath helped bring the color scheme of the shower to this area of the dining room.

Hello Baby! greeted guests as they arrived.

An arrangement of fresh baby's breath and three large white balloons made for a simple backdrop.

Caramel apples placed in vintage berry boxes were sweet [and easy!] little favors.

All there is to do now is anxiously await November and the arrival of my sisters very first boy!

Happy Monday, friends!

  11. beautimus. lovely. you know, as you showed your book wreath it hit me like a ton of books that i MUST have one of these in my new house (whenever that may be). I am an avid reader, always reading something and this just shouts 'i should be in noelle's house'. if mine doesn't turn out, could you possibly be interested in selling one for me? i'm a little feeble minded when it comes to crafting. i LOVE your wreath. (and the shower looks perfect too. )

  18. Hello! I was perusing your blog and came across this charming baby shower that you created.:) I'm involved in hosting one next weekend for a new baby girl set to arrive next month. I love the "hello baby" banner across the fireplace. Can you tell me how you created that? Thanks so much!
