Covered Books.

Remember in school when we were encouraged [threatened] to cover our textbooks? I used this same method to give my decorating books a more uniform appearance. I love the result. Clean, crisp, and simple. This happy project also made my heart flutter a little. It reminded me that the holiday wrapping season is just around the corner.

  1. I love it. I was just looking at my newest Paper Source catalog last night with Jocelyn and we were commenting on how fun it would be to cover her school books in some fun paper...she wants green. Her new favorite color.

  2. Just seeing these books all wrapped up brings back memories of Jr. High. Some warm...some not so much ;)

    Great idea Danyelle!

  3. I love the books. I thought about that too, yesterday, when I saw some newly-covered books. What kind of plant is that in your picture? I've been looking for something like that. I love the photo.

  5. Sarah,
The plant is a faux moss I bought at Target a couple of years ago. I have been craving some real plants as of late. I'm thinking of getting some baby's tears and angel vine. Sweet little plants...I'll let you know how it turns out.

  9. I saw something like that in a catalog lately. It does create a very clean appearance. And that's what I'm all about! I can't stand clutter. Great job.
