Water Bugs.

Saturday was hot. So, so hot. We decided to cure our warm weather blues by taking the children to the river for a picnic, sunbathing, and a dip in the mighty Columbia. There really is nothing quite like river water to cool you off.



After we left the river, we headed over to Grandma's house where
Ryan impressed the children with his diving abilities.




We swam, and swam, and swam some more.
A perfect way to spend a Saturday, if you ask me.




Oh, and Miss Audrey LOVED the kiddie pool.
She splashed and chewed on a snorkel the entire afternoon.

  2. Wow, what a day! I'm impressed you guys (Abby!) went swimming in the river. I think I would always opt for the calm, clean water of a swimming pool. What great pictures! Those mid-air ones are awesome, especially the one of Ryan totally vertical, upside down.

  3. Ok...love the pictures. Ryan's dives are classic! I heard you watched my kids the other day in the pool. Thanks for keeping an eye on them for me! I love Audrey and Branson's age! They love the water. Branson and I have been spending at least 3 hours a day floating in the lazy river and making lots of splashes.
