Skirt Repair.

I'm a skirt kinda girl. Shorts look silly on me, so most summer days I wear comfortable skirts. One of my favorites was recently torn in my daily toils. Actually, I suspect that the washing machine had something to do with it, but I have yet to prove this theory. I love this particular skirt so much I decided a repair was in order.

I learned how to make fabric yo yo's on this fabulous site.

Pretty felt leaves helped complete the repair.

Cute, no?

This repair project would have even made the pioneer women proud.

Happy 24th Friends!

I'm a skirt kind of a girl too. I don't believe that you can have too many.

  5. uh....that is beyond cute, that is perfection! Love it! I would have written the skirt off as a gonner....but your creative mind thinks beyond that. That's one of the things that I adore about you!

  6. You are the pioneer woman of the week. That is the cutest idea for a repair. Trust me, Mattie is going to be all over this one. Way to go. Love it.

I am the anti-skirt (dress) person. It kills me to wear a skirt for three hours on Sunday. I change into my jeans after church faster than you can say "comfortable."

  8. I ♥love♥ that idea. I am going to have my mom do that on one of my ripped skirts. You always have the cutest crafts.
    Bye bye.♥ ;)

  9. I "discovered" skirts a couple summers ago and I love a comfy knit skirt in the summer now. The only problem is I can't get on the floor and play in one, so I still wear shorts and capris. I love the repair job--you really have to be the most creative person I know.
