Knock Off

Here she is, my new favorite sweater. There really is an amazing sense of accomplishment in creating something, but perhaps the feeling is even more strong when it is something that you can wear proudly. Knowing that I didn't succumb to the temptation and fork out a ridiculous amount of money for the original feels pretty good too.

If you would like to make own of your own, purchase some fabric stabilizer from a local craft store. This helped a ton in hand stitching the doily to the knit sweater. [The fabric stabilizer is adhered to the inside of the sweater.] I found the doily at a local antique shop and I got the fabric here. The cardigan was from my personal collection. I have a thing for cardigans.
Happy creating!
