A Few Odds and Ends...

Last night I decorated a table for a dinner at my church. I used fresh wheat grass, yellow tulips, branches, birds, nests, and the most delicious Coconut Cupcakes EVER! I found the recipe here which linked me here. They were easy to make and very decadent. They would make a lovely Easter dessert. Or you could do something like this.

I am in denial that this Sunday is Easter. Serious. Denial. It is so early. Is it really Spring? I still haven't bought Abby her annual pair of new white mary jane's! Is it too late to find white mary jane's? I hope not. That is on my list for tomorrow. So far, this is what I have put together:

I bought this new dress for Abby

and this sweet little number for Miss Audrey.

Easton's new Easter tie,

and Owen's. It's covered in whales and Owen thinks whales are cool.

Check in on Monday to see the children all dolled up and looking darling. I can hardly wait!

Also, something VERY EXCITING is happening here on Monday. Trust me when I say you won't want to miss it!

Have a sweet Easter weekend with the one's you love.
I will be reflecting on this.
And this.
And feeling so grateful for this.

  6. You make me love spring more. I love Easter so much. Luckily Macy's dress from last year (which is actually a little bridesmaids dress) still fits and is already at the dry cleaner. Still working on Payson...

  7. I LOVE these cupcakes. Kristin Rawlins made them for the Mathews Family Christmas Dinner. The recipe is also in The Bafefoot Contesa's first cookbook.

  10. Yum, yum. I love me some cupcakes. Your wards RS dinner sounds like it was fun. I'm totally not on the ball with Easter this year. Lots of last minute scrambling. Have a great weekend!

  11. First, where in the world did you find such adorable kids' ties? I've been on the hunt and can't find anything. Please share!! I need the whale tie too :)

Second, how lucky your local congregation is to have you there to help put on such lovely activities/events. I hope they appreciate you!
