The Luncheon

Here are some pictures from The Bloggers Luncheon Marilyn and I hosted yesterday. I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had. From the planning stages through the lunch yesterday, we had a great time. Thank you, Tami for letting us take over your lovely home for a day. And thank you, Lee Ann for taking such fab pictures!

Since Chinese New Year is this Thursday, we used that as our theme.
New year, new friends.

We filled each mini take out box with gold wrapped candies and a felt fortune cookie, with a blogging related fortune, for each of our guests. Marilyn also made a CD for each guest. To get the playlist, go here.

Yummy paper laterns.

Flowers, flowers, flowers, and more flowers.

These sweet cupcakes were so fun to put together! I was inspired by these from Oh Happy Day. Thanks Paula Deen for the recipe. They were delicious!

A sampling of the menu. We also had Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Broccoli {Thank you, Kristin!},Chinese Chicken Salad, and steamed rice.

Here are a few of our beautiful guests enjoying themselves. In all, there were 26 people that attended.

Kristen {with her new cd}

Kristin and Tiffani

Terilyn, Kim, and Lindsay

The Hostess with the mostess, Marilyn

Nicole, Kim, and Jessica {holding Miss Audrey}

Karen {who is one of the most stylish pregnant ladies EVER!}

And me. Enjoying the company, the food, the day.

Thank you, to everyone who was able to come. Your friendships are so dear to me. And to those who couldn't make it, you were truly missed.

Check back tomorrow to see what I received in the mail from the Organization Swap!

    I think the two of you have found your calling in life, (outside of being wonderful Mom's) you should be party planners, or wedding planners.. even better. I love wedding photog.. and you would make my life so easy.

  30. Truly amazing how you guys can get all that together during your regular lives, I think I need a lesson from the 4 kids group 'cause I don't think I'm cuttin' it in real life let alone putting together extremely awesome parties! Wish my life would've worked with that party.
    Your hair looks great.
