Eight

Easton turned eight on Saturday. Friday night he had a fabulous party with some friends. They ate pizza, had an ice cream cake, and played Space Ball.

Saturday was also Easton's baptism. He was so excited to be baptized on his birthday.

After Easton's baptism we went out to dinner and then back home to open his birthday gifts.

This is a shot of him opening a Lego set he REALLY wanted.
He. was. happy.

And so was I.

  6. I love the picture of him opening his Lego set. That is so cute! Although now that he's eight, can we still say cute? I know Hannah does not like it!

    Congrats to Easton on his baptism. What a great day for him.

  7. Every parent wants a picture of their child that excited about the present they just opened. You are so lucky. I always get them as they're coming out of it, mouth slightly opened, eyes little slits like they're on drugs...maybe you can teach me how to take pictures effectively!
    Easton's baptism was beautiful...what a sweet kid.

  18. Thank you all for the nice comments. We had a great weekend. {once the water was back on, that is}

    Sarah, I was thinking the same thing about your hair. I feel like mine needs to be a bit shorter. And the bangs need a cut, too. Hopefully this week...

  19. If you could have seen this day 10 yrs ago what would you have thought? I think it is very special that Easton could get baptized on the very day of his 8th birthday. That doesn't happen very often. I am happy for you and Easton!
