Christmas Wish List #3

This is more of a need than a want. Really. I am in dire need of some of these. I only have two decent brushes at the moment. An angle brush from Bobbi Brown to shape my brows, and a concealer brush from MAC. I need more, I want more. My other brushes help make the job easier, but they are poor quality and I want to upgrade.
If you don't use make up brushes, you should. You will be amazed by the flawlessness in the finished product. If you do use make up brushes, which ones are your favorite? Is any specific brand better than another? I could really use some tips here. My birthday is around the corner, and every year Ryan indulges my need for new make up and the like.
Have a Happy Tuesday!

  1. I wish I had some good info. for you but I don't know too much about good brushes. I have a couple of makeup brushes, but I think I just got them at Target (Sonia Kashi?).

  3. You are very correct, using make up brushes is so important. I like the Stila brushes for eyes. I have a few.

  5. I still have a couple of my very good brushes from when I was a Beauty for All Seasons consultant many moons ago. Martha Stewart's makeup gal has a wonderful set featured on Martha last week. I think you can get the link from Martha's site. I want to get some of her shimmer stuff!

  6. I like my Mary Kay brushes, they have held up well, and I've had them quite a while.

  7. i just saw a post on another blog about make-up brushes. i'm new at the whole blog thing, but this is the blog: http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/index.html
the post i'm referring to is from dec 4th. she has some links that talk about make-up brushes in comparrison to artist brushes from the craft store. i think i'm going to give it a try. there's also a link to a make-up brush holder that looks pretty cute. take a look and see what you think.
