What's on my mind...

{1} Have you heard of Kelly McCaleb? She has a lovely little blog called "My Happy Little Life" and a lovely Etsy shop as well. Check it out. On Monday, Kelly mentioned that her sister had started a hair blog. Not having ever been to a hair blog, I was quite intrigued. Kelly's sister's name is Nicole a.k.a. Coco, and the name of the hair blog is Hot Coco. Love that! {I was actually contemplating changing Audrey's name to Nicole so we could call her Coco. Not really, but I would love to see a little girl named Coco.} Since I am cutting my hair TODAY this blog has come into my life at the perfect time. Nicole's blog is a mix of her favorite celeb hair styles, links to her sources of beauty stuff, and tips on styling and skin care.
Hair is on my mind.

{2} Christmas is right around the corner. I have been planning my card design, choosing the color scheme, finding great new supply sources, and definitely obsessing way too much. I love Christmas cards. I love making them, sending them, and of course receiving them. I think of my Christmas cards as a little heartfelt gift sent to all the people I love. That's why I put so much thought into them. They are a small gift and I love them to be just right.

Christmas cards are on my mind.

{3} Owen is still adjusting to life with a new baby. I need some help. I'm calling in reinforcements.

Nanny 911 is on my mind.

{4} I have been working on a mobile to hang above Audrey's crib. There is sewing involved. Owen and sewing do not mix. Hence, we are on day 4 of the mobile project.

Sewing is on my mind.

  1. You are on my mind! How do you find time to do all this stuff and then write it all up in a great blog!!

I'm heading to Hot Coco now!

  2. I love coco's hair blog too, I can't wait to see what you do with your hair. Can't wait.

I feel EXACTLY the same way as you do about my cards. As much time and money as I put into them, I always hope that the recipients appreciate them, and treat them as they would any gift, and not just throw them away.

Projects are on my mind, I need to make a few sets of coasters, and some card packs. I need more time to do those. Time is on my mind.

  3. I'm excited to see what your new hairstyle will be. Are you changing up the color, cutting your hair shorter or both?

I love getting your Christmas cards. I also love giving and receiving Christmas cards. It's one of the things that make the Christmas season for me.

My mind is on moving and buying Christmas presents ( I want to be done by December), and catching up on all the things I'm currently behind on.

  6. I'm thinking about lots of things!Where do I start. My brain goes a mile a minute. I'm thinking mostly about all of the activities in the next few days. I don't think I could pack one more thing in! There are not enough hours in the day.
