Thanks For Coming

Ryan and I decided this year we would start a new tradition. We went and picked out some fun little gifts, wrapped them and placed them in a basket by the front door. Whenever a visitor comes to our home they leave with one of these gifts. We have presents for adults, boys and girls. I wrapped each category in a different paper to keep them all strait.
{This is also how I wrap my children's gifts. They each get their own paper, that way I don't have to fuss with tags}
Are you dying to know what's inside one of these packages?
Stop by for a visit and get one for yourself...

  1. cute wrapping and great idea! That sounds like a fun tradition. Maybe when we get up there we'll have to come by :) Matt and I would love to see your remodeled house--it's really given us the itch to get into a house from viewing the pictures on your blog.

  6. I visited a home years ago that did that as well. I always said I would do it but never have.

    That is a great idea about the individual papers in lieu of tags. I never had kids who were package peepers, but if you did that would be one way to foil them because they wouldn't know which present to open. Nan's family gave everyone pseudo names (like Prancer or Vixen) and only Mom knew whose identity matched the names.

    The packages look lovely!

  9. That is an awesome idea. I don't know what's better, the gorgeous wrapping or the gift inside? So just like Tiffani said, how do you know now who's really there to see you and who's there for the loot?
