Mother's Day Re-cap.

What is Mother's Day for me?

Sleeping in

Breakfast in bed

Thoughtful gifts

No diaper changes

Hundreds of hugs

Thousands of smiles

Priceless memories

I'm a little late, but Happy Mother's Day to you all!

Here are some of my favorite pictures with my mother.

Have a lovely sunny day!

  1. it is sunny! this is a great post. sounds like you have a great family for such a great mother's day. i love the pictures of you and your mom. is that a sister?

  2. Great pictures, awesome song. That first picture is so unique, I can't quite figure out what is going on in that picture. You should explain it.

You, Cherise(sp) and your Mom all have changed very little. You all are aging very well!

  3. Isn't it rough after being pampered all day long on Mother's Day to go back to real life? It is for me anyway...

These were great pictures. Your boys look so much like you! What an adorable little girl you were. I agree with Marilyn, the three of you haven't changed much. When and where was that last picture taken? The scenery is beautiful.

  4. I love seeing all about other people's childhood and memories. This is great. I know your mom lives by you, but is your sister close? You look like twins! What a cute family you belong to! Glad to hear your Mother's day was relaxing and joyful!

  5. Glad to hear your so pampered on Mother's Day. This was my most pampered Mother's Day, but I'll blog about it later. Loved the pictures of you, your mom and Sharice. So fun to compare the ones from forever ago with now.

  6. I love the black and white pictures of you and your Mom. She is beautiful and so are you!

  7. Were the childhood pictures originally black and white? I like them that way. I don't have any black and white pics from my childhood.

  8. OH I love seeing these pictures, the 4th one down is my fav. I think that is when I remember hanging out at your house the most. It makes me miss Sherice, we have so many fun, wild, crazy memories together!! Weird huh, we are just across the river but haven't talked in years. Has she decided to try for the 4th, a boy maybe this time :) ??

  9. Noelle- Yes, I have a sister who is three years older than me. Her name is Sherice.

Marilyn- The first picture was taken at Crater Lake. Apparently, they were cutting down some large trees and my parents thought it was a good idea to get a picture in front of one of the large logs.

Tiffani- I completely agree with the "going back to real life" comment! The last picture was taken three years ago. I was pregnant with Owen and we were visiting my Grandma in Crescent City CA. If you haven't been there, do try at least once in your life. It is right off Highway 101 and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!

Kristen- My sister lives right across the river! I have often heard that we look very similar, but I don't see it. We are as different as night and day as far as our personalities go. I have always loved that she is blond and I am brunette. I think that is unique.

Alicia and Sarah- Thanks for the nice compliments. It was fun digging up those pictures!

Mary Ann- The pictures weren't originally in b&w. I removed the color for this post.

Jessica- Sherice is very anxious to have a boy. Hopefully this Fall will prove successful!
